Heron Painters & Decorators Ltd operates within the commercial, industrial and public sectors. The business was established in 1980 as a local decorating company operating mainly in and around the West Sussex area. The present name was incorporated in 1999 and today we operate as a reputable contractor with experience in all types of construction from general maintenance through refurbishment and renovation to new build. Our core business is within the South East of England.

In 2009 the Company expanded to incorporate access equipment hire, introducing a fleet of machinery comprising scissor lifts, boom lifts, materials lifts and truck mounted access platforms. Further expansion took place in 2015 to provide bespoke Line Marking services and most recently in 2017, Heron became certified installers of Passive Fire Protection (PFP). As accredited members of NAPFIS Heron specialise in the highly regulated area of intumescent paint application and our directly employed installers can issue fire certificates upon completion of their work. Being a long established contractor with Airside Operators Licences at Gatwick and Heathrow, our company liveried vehicles and personnel are fully operational both landside and airside. We are happy to deliver our access equipment to any airside location as required.

We take all aspects of business compliance very seriously and are proud to hold Constructionline, SafeContractor and CHAS accreditations which prove our competency. We also hold Acclaim accreditation demonstrating our competency to pass an elevated stringent Health & Safety assessment.
